Nigel (Russ) & Helen Conway, Pilates Specialists
With almost 60 years' collective experience within the health, wellness and fitness industry, Helen and Russ have taught 1000's of clients, from the fit and healthy, those recovering from illness, injury and surgery, pre and post natal women, sports enthusiasts, and specialist populations such as frailer, older adults.
Their passion is to keep their clients able, stable and independent, ensuring that they are living and ageing actively and healthily, living more mobile and agile lives, free from debilitating back and joint pain.
Helen completely understands how debilitating and limiting pain can be, as she has had 27 surgeries to her right knee, including a total knee replacement at only 46 years old. Pilates has been a huge part of her rehab over the years, and she continues to use it to maintain good joint function. She is the person clients seek out post joint replacement surgery.
Running small group classes, both Helen and Russ ensure clients receive the attention they need in every session to progress and achieve positive results. Classes are fun, but don't be fooled. Precise instruction means that their classes are very effective.
They also offer private tuition to those who prefer, or need, a programme specific to their conditions or goals.
They work closely with physiotherapists, chiropractors, osteopaths and other medical professionals, and constantly update their training and knowledge to ensure that any information given is relevant and current.
